      There is research done in a lot of animals. The most common one is mice, as they are very similar to us, and what you learn from them you can apply to humans. But also fish are useful: because, for instance, the embryos are transparent and you can see everything that happens inside. Also they are being used to study what happens in melanoma, a skin cancer. Honeybee is used as well to try to understand how the environment that surrounds us and genes together affect our behavior. and there’s a worm being used to understand what happens when we get old. Many animals are used in research.
